Do you need an extra sleeping space for one of your children in the caravan? Perhaps you’ve even thought about building a bunk bed in your caravan yourself? 

This product has been specially developed to easily create an extra sleeping space without leaving any visible damage. In just a few simple steps, you can place an extra bed above your seating area or fixed bed. Thanks to the well-designed self-supporting construction, there is no load on the cupboard furniture. The cupboard adapters merely position the bed and do not draw any load-bearing capacity from it.

During the day, the bed can be tilted towards the window in under a minute, or completely dismantled and reassembled in under two minutes.

The specially designed click-in adapter ensures that the ladder can be removed in 10 seconds. You can then tilt the bed towards the window, or dismantle the entire bed by also unclipping the cabinet adapters.

This caravan bed comes complete with a mattress and ladder. The entire ladder is pre-assembled and the bed itself is largely pre-assembled in the box, so you can quickly create a new sleeping space.

• Load capacity: a child up to 147 cm tall and weighing up to 50 kg. (That is up to approximately 12 years old.)

• Material: anodised aluminium tubes. The fabric is made of sand/beige polyester and the mattress is 5 cm thick cold foam with a cotton cover.
• All materials are CE approved.

Safety

The caravan bed has been tested and fully approved by the Swiss testing agency SGS and has passed tests with a load of no less than 140 kg. Children under the age of 6 may only use the bunk bed under adult supervision.

Assembly

Assembling the bed is very easy. You only need to drill two holes in the bottom of the top cupboards. These holes are not immediately visible once the bed has been removed. Then, using a screw cap, attach the two adapters supplied to the holes. These adapters hold the bed in place. The back of the bed rests against the caravan wall by means of an adjustable U-tube. At the front, the bed rests on the floor by means of the steps.
